After Taupo, we drove to Whakapapa Village where we camped. The following day, ie. Feb. 13th (happy birthday Graham), we hiked near Mount Tongariro, in an active volcanic zone. We could feel the warm ground (when touching it with our hands, je precise) and the sulphur coming the deep down below... Exciting!!!

Je me souviens de ton premier jour de ton tour du monde : chez moi. Tu as bouffé des pâtes le soir de ton arrivée, et tu en as foutu ton t-shirt. Et là je te vois sur des photos, avec un t-shirt gris... Est-ce que c'est un survivant de tes trois originaux ou est-ce que finalement tu as dû faire des achats??? hi hi hi
