This is Adelaide

At least a part of it. I only spent 2 days in Adelaide, just enough to see the Botanical Gardens and have a walk around the CBD (central business district, that's what they call town centres here).

Adelaide was really nice. It's called "the city of churches" and has a teensy-weensy European feel to it. When I go back to Australia, Adelaide will be in my list of must-sees (along with Darwin, the Kimberley and Cape York and...).

Now, let's see what it looks like.

There are lots of black swans in Adelaide. Very elegant animals...

The kind of thing nobody wants to know.

Inside the greenhouse.

The leaf's name?

In the streets of Adelaide. Oink oink!

Nathalie and Evi are having LOADS of fun.

A few kilometres away from Adelaide is Glenelg, a seaside resort full of big buildings and shops.

So that's it for Adelaide and Glenelg.

After Adelaide, I hired a car with Evi and Anne. We drove from Adelaide to Melbourne through the Grampians and on the Great Ocean Road.
