Colours of autumn

Yes, there is autumn in Australia. At first I thought they only had summer for 12 months but apparently this is not true. Easter weekend in Katoomba was rainy, cold and foggy... And now that most tourists have left, the sun is out again, ha ha ha.

The over-crowded Echo Point, stuck in fog.

Can't you see the Three Sisters?

The famous Kookaburra, aka the laughing bird.

In the Devil's Hole, a nice hiking trail stuck between the cliffs.

I was very intrigued by this sign. Just think about it for a minute. It's nonsense. If the access is unauthorised, it means you are not permitted to access the place. So it is obvious that unauthorised access is not permitted. I'm trying to imagine people's reactions if the sign read: "authorised access is permitted". Do you see my point?
Nevermind...

A pink teddy-bear in a tree. One comes across funny things in Katoomba...
